About Me

Hello! Welcome to my blog.
My name is Michelle. I am a mother to three beautiful boys, one angel baby, and one beautiful baby girl. I am married to my best friend, sappy but true. He works hard so that I can be a stay at home mom to our children.

This blog came together in a result of me wanting to write, to share my story, to share my experiences in life, in motherhood. This is my personal story. But I always like to share other things, like fun crafts, great places to travel to, reviews on awesome products I have found for my family.

Here are some things you will read about while here:

I grew in Kenya as a Missionary Kid (MK). I loved living there, it is such a beautiful country. I love talking to anyone and everyone about Kenya and its beauty. You will find a few posts about Kenya on here, with I am sure many more to come.

Something else you will read about here, Adoption. Adoption is very important to me for 2 reasons. I was adopted at birth. It is something I have always known about and something that I have always kept close to my heart. When I was 16 I got pregnant and became a Birth Mom. I made the hardest decision of my life and placed my sweet boy up for adoption. He is living in a loving home and knows who I am and his two younger brothers and sister are.

Something else I like to talk about is my Family. Here is a bit about my family.

My Oldest Son, I had him just after I turned 17, I placed him for adoption. He is now living with the best family imaginable. He's been able to travel and see the world. He's an amazing kid. Smart. Loves Lego. I've seen pictures of him building some pretty cool stuff. I am lucky enough to still be involved in his life, he knows who I am, and gets to have a relationship with his siblings. He's such a wise soul already.

My Husband. (Let the sappy-ness begin) I married my best friend. It is true. He's my rock. Always there when I need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to talk to, or someone to make me laugh. We've had our ups and downs like any relationship, and at times he drives me absolutely crazy, but at the end of the day I love him! He opened up my world to the love of random road trips! I've learned that by saying "lets go for a drive" can lead to an 8+ hour drive which leads us to the middle of no where. He loves photography, and I love being able to get a glimpse at the way he sees the world. And a bonus, he's handy - he can fix our car, build a bathroom or kitchen, and he's awesome at rocking our daughter to sleep at night!
Together we have two beautiful boys, 1 angel baby and one beautiful baby girl who isn't even one and keeps us on our toes already!

My Big Boy. He's 8. He's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. He loves photography. He loves weather and storms. He loves history and reading about the wars and the army, he really got into that after learning of past family members that were in the army. He love science. He loves building things. He even loves school. He's such a harder worker with such a sweet gentle soul.

My Little Guy. He's 7. He's a whole 13 months younger than his big brother. He's such a sweet gentle soul. He's my little cuddle bug. While his brother his always on the move looking for something to do, I can always count on my little guy to cuddle up for hours with me and read or watch a movie. He loves to laugh. He's such a clown. Always making people laugh. He loves games, and computer games. His favourite is Checkers.

My Baby Girl. She's perfect. She loves the laugh. Always on the move. She knows what she wants and when she wants it. However that never happens to be sleep. But even with little sleep, and getting up all night she still always has a smile on her face. She's completed our family. She's my little miracle baby. I got pregnant with her after I suffered a miscarriage. I was told to take it easy with her pregnancy but still put on bed rest around 14 weeks. I was in and out of hospital every couple weeks during her pregnancy. She was born healthy and perfect at full term.

This is my blog. This is my life. This is me.

Happy Reading!
