Getting Healthy- Staying Healthy!



This week SO did not turn out as planned!
First it started with a sick husband, then sick kids, then a sick mommy. I was too busy taking care of everyone else to pay attention to my body. Thankfully I didn't stay sick long, since I didn't really have the time to anyway!

This week I still managed to get in my 10K steps every day! I was very happy about this.
I was able to fit in workouts here and there when I had a few minutes. Its not ideal, but its better then nothing!
I drank lots of water! Bonus!
I started drinking my Green Tea again. I'm not sure why I stopped that, its so good.
I still managed to eat healthy foods -lots of fresh fruits this week!
And really I am feeling so much better then I thought I would starting this week.

So despite the week starting out looking bad, I really don't think it was all that bad.

Monday I have a whole new workout lined up. So stay tuned for that fun!

  1. It sounds like you are doing great! Glad to hear that everyone is on the mend in your household--only 2 more months left of winter!

    I've been pleased with my family's progress to each better & stay active. It's really paying off for all of us.

    1. Thanks! I will say, I will be happy when this crazy winter is over. The temps have been all over the place!

  2. I'm trying to get into shape. Two weeks ago, I said I wanted to lose 10 pounds by spring... I realize that in order for that to happen, I actually have to get moving and eating better. :)

  3. I did ok. I think I'm holding steady. I didn't make it into WW this week as I slept until noon. Yep, noon. My lovely husband let me sleep as I'm coming down with another cold! On the upside, I'm heading outside today to work in the yard - that should burn some calories. :-)

    Sorry you all got sick. But I'm excite to see what you have planned for this coming week!
