Getting Healthy-- Sticking with it even when busy



This week was a lot more busy and demanding of my time then I had previously thought it would be.
I did not get to work out as much as I would have liked. But I still managed to do a little something every day. I know I should be happy with that, but honestly, I'm not. I really wanted to do more, but time just did not allow it. I am going to try to put this week behind me, and focus on a new week, new goals, new workouts.

I really think I need a chart in the kitchen or something to mark how much water I have had to drink. Seriously. For whatever reason this always slips my mind!

I'm still doing well with eating healthy. I just went grocery shopping and got some very yummy fresh fruits and veggies. Looking forward to all the healthy meals I have planned this week!

I did get the go ahead from my doctor to start easing into more intense workouts. I am really looking forward to Monday when I will start.
I would start this weekend, but my house will be full of little kids, so I figure running around after a 4 year old, 5 year old, 6 year old, all weekend, plus 2 more kids on Saturday will be enough of a workout!

I know next week will be a much better week!

I am so thankful to have such a supportive husband and family behind me to encourage me and help me. Especially next when I start doing more intense workouts!

  1. We all have bad weeks - this one has been particularly bad for me too! You can do this. That is GREAT news that you can start working out the way you want to!!!

      I'm really excited about it! Especially after not working out as much as I wanted to this week, my body is really craving it!

  2. Maybe this is the calm before the storm for your exercising. You didn't get much this week - but next week Watch Out! you'll be on fire! :-)
